Designer Darnell “Jewell” Davis starting designing in 1995 with hand stitched t-shirts in ways to support his struggling music career. After creating a 72 piece t-shirt collection hand sewen for a local store in Delaware, Darnell turned all his creative energies to fashion once seeing his collection sell out in two weeks.
Dahveese launched its first Spring Collection during Couture Fashion Week of Sept 2005, and recently launched their Fall Collection of 2006 in the UK which was to draw the attention to very distinguished tailored designs. The Fall 06′ Collection was built from earth colors of warm browns, chestnuts, dreamy off whites, and various array of natural tones to create trendsetting designs with unmatched texture, dept, and uniqueness. Dahveese has the privilege of designing for celebrities such as Nicky Hilton (yes, sister of Paris), Raz B formally of the R&B boy group B2K…Iguana thumbs up!
