Buyers not keen on designers after Fashion Week

Princess Marys favorite designer Jayson Brunsdon yesterday rescued Australian Fashion Week from a designer blackout - with a series of girly, floaty off-white frocks sure to hit the red carpet.
As Brunsdon lightened the mood, a leading international fashion figure has questioned the Australian fashion packs devotion to black, saying he was left uninspired by new names at Australian Fashion Week.
Albert Morris, buying consultant for one of Londons most influential stores - Browns and Browns Focus - said he was surprised by the amount of dark clothes coming from such a sunny part of the world.
“There is an ocean of black here but do we really want to wear black next spring or summer? It is in every show,” Morris said as Australian Fashion Week came to a close. More…
