Chryssi Reid hopes to help others fighting cancer with a clothing line featuring stylish attire for younger people

Like many, she is a fan of the reality TV show Survivor.

But unlike other viewers, she is the protagonist in her own tale of survival.

Chryssi Reid sat comfortably on a leather couch in her Aurora home with her ankle tucked under her leg and her hands in her lap. Her blond hair has grown back, but not quite to the length she would like.

The attractive 36-year-old mother of two began telling her story beginning with her knowledge of cancer, which has cursed the females in her bloodline for generations.

Her great-grandmother, grandmother and mother have all died of breast or ovarian cancer and many more in the family have been diagnosed. She, too, was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2005. More…
