Nicolas Ghesquière’s gold leggings for Balenciaga’s spring 2007 collections bore a similarity to Iron Man’s armor.

Pop singer Beyoncé bought the one and only pair for her appearance at the 2007 BET Awards. One blogger compared her to a “sexified C-3PO.”
