Local Designers Find Success in Ozarks Inspiration

When you think of haute couture fashion, you may think of Paris Fashion Week or “Americas Next Top Model.” But some Ozarks clothing designers are getting national attention for their local style.
The designers behind the new clothing line Miacro say their Missouri roots are what make their clothing unique. From the fabrics to the textures to the manufacturing, everything is done in-house.
Far away from Fifth Avenue, Miacros designer duo Jennifer McKelvie and Tina Davis-Noble work out of this studio in Galloway Creek.
“We do all of our dying, printing, and manufacturing in this studio,” Jennifer says.
A casual chat at a party convinced Jennifer and Tina they shared a common thread: they hope to bring a little bit of the catwalk to the sidewalk. More…
