Fresh take on fashion - Joe Fresh Style puts runway looks within reach of real women

High fashion for the masses is a concept that almost borders on the oxymoronic but, for the past two years, Canadian designer Joe Mimran has had wild success creating exactly that.

Though he’s less of a household name than his contemporary Alfred Sung – the designer with whom he co-founded clothing giant Club Monaco some 23 years ago — Mimran is a man every thrifty fashionista ought to thank.

That’s because his latest project, an extensive clothing line called Joe Fresh Style (sold at Canadian Superstores across the country), aims both to slash the prices typically tethered to designer looks and to make them flatter women of every shape. More…
