Anno Domin hits the fashion industry

Two former co-founders of the fashion label Odipeca, Matlhomola Motsage and Alfons Naane, have broken away and started a new label called Anno Domin. According to the youthful directors, the name is derived from the word Anno Domini, Latin for in the year of our Lord. It is the ancientness of both the Latin language and the word Anno Domini that motivated the Motsage and Naane to choose the name from the four they had short-listed.

If you choose a name for a fashion house, you have to go for one that is user-friendly. We went around asking our potential clients to help us choose name that would best suit our label and the lot fell on Anno Domin,says Naane. More…
