Rihanna is working on her very own clothing line. They caught up with the Grammy-award winning singer while she was taking in the Gucci SS09 show in Milan. And while Rihanna stayed mum on the specifics, she confirmed that the clothing line is “definitely going to happen.”
At this point, predicting the kind of looks the singer has up her sleeves is purely speculation. But considering her signature style, it’s safe to assume there will be lots of black, curve-flattering cuts, and a fair share of hardware. Whatever the line entails, a ton of Rihanna superfans will be eagerly awaiting its arrival.

Hip hop mogul Percy “P.” Miller has announced the launch of a new clothing line for women and girls called Miller Peaches.
The enterprise, expected to be sold in Wal-Mart, specializes in stretch denim and will retail between $10 and $20, according to P. Miller. The line will also include plus-sizes.
“P. Miller truly is a complete lifestyle brand, which now includes P.Miller Designs for young men, Miller Peaches for young women, Kids, Shoes and Accessories lines,” Miller said in a statement. “This brand seeks to clothe the entire family from head to toe and target the African American and Hispanic minority customers and make history by being a quality, affordable, urban lifestyle brand for the community.”

Fashion lovers hoping to turn a few heads this season with original outfits and hip accessories can try on The Capital Clothing Show this weekend. Visitors can expect to find a range of eclectic clothing by hip, edgy designers, says show organizer Catherine Knoll.
“We have brand new styles from one-of-a-kind retro to red hot items that have a lot of razzle-dazzle.” Show-stoppers will include Ottawa’s talented new designer Stacey Bafi-Yeboa of Kania Couture and the launch of Mola Vida, a company that imports colourful footwear from Colombia.
Other vendors include the cyber, industrial fashion of Toronto’s Plastic Wrap, chic plus-size apparel by Poisson Design and Isabella Campbell of Read My Hips, who uses recycled products in her work. More…
